It's difficult for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the assurance to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if we do, we are confident we can do it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship should hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this victory coming after success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.
